Chapter 1 - The Raison d'être

Year 2007

Teresa*, 17 years of age, is studying at Marist School of Marbel (Co-Ed). She is a typical social-active girl. The school is depending on her on lot of things because of her natural skills and talents. In short, she is an all-time leader in their school. In terms of family life, her parents got separated for months. Her mother is a registered Civil Engineer and while the father is a businessman. She is the only child of their family. Love life? Her boyfriend is her band member (lead guitarist) and they are already together since last year. His name is Jake*. But Teresa is having a hard time keeping up to his standards and decisions. She wants to give in but she is holding on to her principles. Jake* wants to get their relationship into the “next level” because they are already together for a year. Teresa is in trouble and on the latter, she broke up with jake. If he really loved me, he would respect my decision. Teresa went on with her life as a social butterfly. Her life is now composed of school, friends and studies… until….

Stephen*, 16 years of age, studying at Marist School of Marikina (All-Boys) as a junior. He is considered as a silent bastard of their school. He is a hard-to-understand boy who is fond of having relationship with same sex or gays. Since their school is an all-boys school, he just had little experiences in dealing with girl friends. In terms of family life, his parents are both into BIG business. They are low-profile millionaire family. He has twin sisters. And he was believed to be the BLACK SHEEP of their family. He is into gambling, getting drunk and lot of bad things since the age of 11. Love life? He once had a 3 gay lovers. His parents found out about his last relationship with a gay named Harvey*  and he was grounded for like life. His whole family hated him especially her mom. He and Harvey* were together for 5 months and something unexpectedly happened to them. (You know what I mean). They broke up and he started to have relationships with girls but after a little time, they would also broke up. He never had any time being in a relationship anymore. His life is now composed of gambling, basketball, drinking and flings… until...
